We beat South Carolina this Week!

We are pretty inconsistent and suck in certain areas BUT, I think with Cooper coming back and this being at home with a serious grudge, we will get ferocious enough to get the job done, prehaps very convincingly.

I am not so confident about GA or Bama.

We would have beaten SC last year if number 5 had not ran away from his man. Is Hadden playing again this year? That’s my top concern.

I think Rattler will chew up our defense. They’ll score on 75% or their possessions. I’m not sure we are consistent enough for 60 minutes to keep up.

It pains me to say it, but I think the chickens whip us in our own house.

No one will be happier to be wrong than me.

Uh, no. USCe will score as often as they want.
Uh, you're drinking too heavy. Tennessee will lay a whipping on SC, from what I've seen of bumma and pug noses, Tennessee stands a good chance of winning those games also.

We beat them at home 45-20 two years ago. I'm expecting a similar result. If Coach wants to run the score up some, I'd be just fine with that. Those arrogant Cocks need deflating.

No one is saying we have no chance. A lot of people are concerned though and would pick USCjr to beat us with the way Rattler is playing coupled with how disjointed we look at times.

Both teams have weak secondaries, and we have 3 top end SEC RBs they are pretty thin at RB maybe one of the worst rushing teams in the SEC. They have the better QB, but they have given up 17 sacks most in SEC sans Vandy. I see Tyler Baron, Beasley and Pearce having a field day on D. It will still be a high scoring affair.

Any chance we get Mays back. I wonder if Vegas thinks so. 11 points seems too much
I don't think he plays this week. Until he's absolutely 100%, I don't think he and his family will risk a setback and harming his draft stock. It is what it is. I said going into the season, we had a few guys we just couldn't afford to lose to injury. We lost 2 of them out of the gate. Mays and Pili. The UT curse is real....yeah...I know, but it sure feels that way sometimes.

I wasn't over confident about UF, but thought we'd win. I THINK we'll win vs SC, if only for Neyland home field. Don't give much to the revenge factor except we won't overlook them. Also think this game will be a barometer for rest of season...challenging game at home. If we clean up some things, start tackling and getting off field on 3rd and long and start hitting some big plays, then the second half of season may be OK for us. If we take a L, it could get challenging to do much more than get bowl eligible.

I will be at the game and want a win as much as anyone. However I think USC wins. The Vols are just not that consistent and have too many gaps on defense.
Then why don't you just stay at Home, or go watch someone else play

Wow, about half of you folks may just need to skip the rest of the season. After all, why would anyone sit and watch a game that is a foregone conclusion and raise your blood pressure in the process. Legions of the miserable just go ahead and clock out til next season. Excited to see this team improve as THIS season…and I think they will. Go Vols by 25 (what we lost by last year).

And that is the important thing! You're showing up to support your team, regardless of whether you think they will win or not. I appreciate that and will be there too rooting for my Vols with family and hoping they will win as well. Couldn't think of a better way to spend one of my weekends in the Fall.

Nobody who posts here actually knows which team will actually win on Saturday. It's all speculation and conjecture. Some will prove their posts right and some wrong. I just wish more of those who are wrong would fess up and admit it! lol
I cheered hard and I’m glad the won.
