We Called The Dogs Off Too Early !

I'm glad they put 'em in. After the three quick TDs in the 3rd my girlfriend was begging to leave early. Saying that I needed to stay and watch JC in action prevented an early exit. And to all the people who left early...poo poo on you. I think with more fans in the stands that the students might have been coaxed into rushing the field after the 'Tennessee Waltz'.

I don't think rushing the field is much of an option anymore. At least after the Florida game in 2004, they brought out like 200 cops during the final seconds of the game. Some dude tried to rush the field, and the cops wailed on him like he was Al Qaeda. It was really ridiculous.

The whole nation saw the game and know the 35-18 wasn't what really happened. It was a total butt whipping. The point was proven and them scoring didn't make or break my high

Developing some depth is more important than the margin, or a shutout. We made our statement, and everyone in the country heard it. We are a lot thinner at many positions than we have been in years past, so we HAVE to get them more playing time and experience.

Agreed, we need to develop our depth as much as possible prior to SEC play. I'm glad we had a whole half of football to test our depth and experiement with our reserves

Another nice change from last yr, a game that didn't come down the the last 2 min before we knew it was in the bag. I personally don't like to run the score up but in the BCS age of football it sometimes becomes a neccessary evil.

100 to 0 wouldn't have been enough for me. I wanted BLOOD..

Shutout would have been nice as well as scoring fifty, which we could have done easily. Also, it would have been great to get the guys some more reps. However, I for one don't want to see an injury to any of our players trying to run the score up. An added benefit to pulling the starters is those second-teamers get some game time under their belts in case we need their depth for injuries, etc.
