I'm glad they put 'em in. After the three quick TDs in the 3rd my girlfriend was begging to leave early. Saying that I needed to stay and watch JC in action prevented an early exit. And to all the people who left early...poo poo on you. I think with more fans in the stands that the students might have been coaxed into rushing the field after the 'Tennessee Waltz'.
Developing some depth is more important than the margin, or a shutout. We made our statement, and everyone in the country heard it. We are a lot thinner at many positions than we have been in years past, so we HAVE to get them more playing time and experience.
Another nice change from last yr, a game that didn't come down the the last 2 min before we knew it was in the bag. I personally don't like to run the score up but in the BCS age of football it sometimes becomes a neccessary evil.Agreed, we need to develop our depth as much as possible prior to SEC play. I'm glad we had a whole half of football to test our depth and experiement with our reserves
