True, but no need to be disrespectful on national TV about it. They are who they are at this point. No screaming or finger pointing is going to change that. Be a leader, accept responsibility, and don't act like a 3 year old when the camera is on you.His Oline has been telling him that all year with their play
Could it happen? Well, anything can happen on a Saturday in college football. Likely - no.
Personally, I don't think who wins and loses makes a difference. We beat KY and we lost to UGA. I see this as neutral.
Taking the lottery approach where you can dream big before reality sets in - what would happen though
- If UGA were to lose to KY, they definitely drop out of the top 4 and TN definitely moves into the top 4 (must beat South Carolina!!!) Their victory over us would not trump losing to a team we beat badly. No way to spin that.
- UGA probably then needs some help though it will depend upon how far they fall. And they must beat LSU.
- KY may even move back into the top 25 as a result of the win.
The other situation is a close game but a UGA victory or a last minute UGA victory. The shine on UGA pales - not enough to drop them out of the top 4, but it might result with movement of OSU up - which is probably not good for Tennessee.
So victory by UGA or KY probably okay for Tennessee. Close win by UGA may be a different story.
Then have LSU beat them in the SECCG.
Problem solved.
We're in and they are playing a NY Day bowl !!
I can dream.
Since I doubt UK has a chance this weekend, our best bet is for UGA to beat LSU (Hate to say it because LSU is my second favorite team) in the SECCG. Then LSU has 3 losses and UT has only one, plus we creamed LSU. I could see them letting in two SEC teams (UT & UGA), but not three. IF LSU wins, they probably take UGA and the SEC champs.
I can hope Elon Musk goes crazy again and donates 20 billion dollars to me....I mean there is probably a better chance of that happening than UK beating UGA...I really hope it happens....The 20 billion I mean. After Saturday, if you gave me KY and 50 points, I would go with Georgia because Kentucky is that much of a train wreck.
They could seriously finish the game with negative yardage .... not that it would affect Mel Kiper's assessment of Will Levis.
