What do you guys think?

I think you guys are in the same boat as we are.Neither coach will tolerate numerous mistakes form any QB.I heard from my UGA grad neighbor that you guys had a real young (hot dog) of a QB.Which one would that be?

Probably talking about the true Freshman, Matt Stafford. He's the one everybody thinks is going to be the QB of the future. He's been named the "co #3 QB" along with Blake Barnes behind Joe Cox.

The coverage of these QBs reminds me of how you here about minor leaguers in the NY Yankees farm system. They are all the next great player. I guess it's that way everywhere though.

I for one am looking forward to seeing more little segments here and there about how Joe T always had a dream of being UGA's starting QB and to prove it, they go to the room he grew up in and show that poster he has...

That never gets old.

I just get frustrated when people make bold predictions, but then make it sound like its such an obvious situation.

I tend to get frustrated with a lot of people, not just on VN. It's not hard to communicate easily, so when I see or hear people who can't do it, I get frustrated.

I do need to lighten up, though.

I think Joe T will be fine as long as he can keep the defense honest by hitting a couple of passes and then hand off the rest of the time. I think most Dawg fans wanted Stafford to get the nod but down deep knew Joe T will give us the best chance to win early. CMR gets paid alot of money to make these decisions and he hasnt let us down yet. Thanks for the imput guys.

The feeling I've gotten from a few Dawg fans is that Cox was bumped up to get him to stay. There were some rumors that he'd leave if he was too far down the line.

How is the running game looking for Georgia? I would imagine they were planning on relying on that a lot considering that whoever they put behind center would be fairly inexperienced.

Running game should be great. The key there is should. Our Oline is thin but talented, if they stay healty we will be fine. As for Joe Cox being the backup I dont think CMR would play the politics game.

Richt would play politics if he had to. If he was this doubtful about his prospects at QB, he'd stoop to the level of ensuring his bases were covered and there were always options to choose from. JT3 leaves and Richt is left with two QB's who were shaky? I'd play the game just to bait Cox into staying. Nothing better than being left with two mediocre QB's.....<cough> Ainge/Clausen <cough>

I hear a lot of doubts about Ware as well since his overall production has really trailed off of late.
