We got the easiest path to playoff?(Behind Georgia)

They have done more, to this point in the season. If USC don’t in’s then next two weeks, they’ll jump LSU. It may happen as early as next week if they beat UCLA this weekend.

Still wouldn’t be enough for USC to jump LSU or us. Right now if we win out we’re most likely in, the committee sees us as a top team

What makes you think that? The committee clearly thinks LSU has done more than USC. I don’t see USC jumping us or LSU if they win out.

You are using the rankings right now. USC easily jumps us if they win out. Why? They face 3 ranked opponents to finish out (one will be a top 10 team). Meanwhile we finish with SC and Vandy. USC would be 13-1 with a P12 title and as many wins against ranked opponents as we do.

Will they jump LSU if LSU beats UGA? No. But if LSU beats UGA we are out anyway. Regardless of what @JMSqb11 likes to think, there is zero chance the SEC gets 3 teams in.

What if TCU, and USC lose. LSU beats UGA on the final play, and tOSU beats Michigan real bad. It could be UT, UGA, LSU and tOSU in the playoff.

1. OSU
2. hmmm
3.

Clemson being ranked behind a 2-loss ‘Bama, and a 1-loss UNC being ranked so far down is a good sign that the ACC champ will not jump over many teams. USC behind a 2-loss LSU is also another good sign for us. They could have easily put USC at 6 and breathing down our necks positioned to jump us with a big win. LSU barely escapes with a win at Arky and are still ahead of the Trojans.

The path is getting clearer now. If LSU loses to UGA, we will be in over the OSU/Michigan loser. If LSU wins, we need TCU to lose.

Its awesome and a lot of fun for us just to have conversation about guessing the scenarios for our Vols to be in the CF playoffs!!!!

The only way LSU makes the playoff is winning in Atlanta and TCU dropping a game. LSU can’t make the playoff with a 13-0 TCU and 11-1 Tennessee.

I’m not sure how many times it has to be said. Tennessee is going to the playoff at 11-1. LSU’s sole hope of making playoff is winning in Atlanta + TCU dropping a game.

1-OSU/Michigan
2- UGA
3- Tennessee
4- LSU

Y’all MF’s wanna act like there is zero scenario where LSU can make the playoff. Yet it is 1 TCU loss away from being a real possibility if they win in Atlanta. Y’all MF’s love some conspiracies.

Don’t underestimate OSU overtaking Ga with a big win over Michigan. The road win vs Penn St could be the big factor. Ga doesn’t have a major road win.
No but UGA does have a convincing win over #1 TN and will likely win the SEC championship. That, plus being the undefeated national champions, I don’t think that struggle win over a 2 loss Penn State team is as impressive.

Yeah, Hubbs predicted that USC would jump LSU to pave a path for USC to get in if they win the PAC 12, but that didn't happen. Of course Americans love conspiracy theories. Maybe the committee isn't as crazy as we make out to be.
Maybe they woke tf up after their epic failed experiment of Cincinnati last year?

Nope. We win out and we are in.
We won’t drop. The loser of OSU/UM opens up our spot.

Exactly. LSU only gets in the playoff at the 4 seed with a Win in Atlanta plus a TCU loss somewhere. Georgia and Tennessee are already locks for the playoff.

To this point. That is the point of weekly rankings released. Their resume has a chance to climb each week as their most prominent games are on this backend and the Hodge podge of whoever they could draw in pac12 championship game.

Even the dense playoff committee knows those top Big Ten teams would never survive an SEC schedule.

Georgia is not coming off that top spot unless they lose. So, KY, GA Tech, LSU.... nope, not losing.

LSU beating Georgia has no bearing on us.

USC beats UCLA, ND and pac 12 championship your right.

Still think we're the better team but there would be a ton of pressure to put a pac 12 team in.

Georgia has the best win in the country. They aren’t moving from #1.

On a related matter... Polack (Pollack) is such a homer. I hate that guy. Aaron Murray on the other hand is a pretty fair analyst. Dawgs suck... Go Vols...

Couldn't agree more. Everytime her talks I wanna vomit. He just can't separate his job from his fandom. It just makes him look weak.

The only thing I feel is wrong with your statement is this - - "with any win over Michigan"

USC could lose to either UCLA or ND. UCLA took Arizona lightly and lost last week but they are capable of beating USC.
