We gotta show up in Columbus!

There’s thousands of resale tickets for sale on Ticketmaster for the game. If our fans bought just the ones on there for resale we’d have half the stadium in orange. Their fans don’t wanna be there.

There is around 4000 listings on Seat Geek and Vivid Seats - literally thousands on ticket master. For me it is going to be a matter of the price point, plus I want to be near other UT fans and not in the middle of red.

Interesting, because the ESPN box score has it at 105K & change. Oh well.
The attendance was listed as 111,037 at the Indiana game...... It's probably not seats but total attendance.
Not sure where that was listed. Of all the games I have been to over the years, I have never seen it over 110K when I attended. Official attendance is always listed on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter and it's based on the number of tickets that were counted at entry points.

When I was at the Indiana game, official attended was listed on the scoreboard as 105K and change. For Michigan it was 106K and change. It will probably be similar for this game and possibly get close to the record. The largest attendance on record is just over 110K for a game against Michigan a while back. You can stuff more in technically. But that's about the max you can fit in there without violating safety codes.

Do OSU fans not know how re-sales work? You have no idea who you are selling the ticket to and nor should you. The only way to guarantee a fan of the other school doesn't buy the ticket is to sell it outside of the re-sale vendors.

Tony B said atleast 15,000 but up to 30,000 . Ohio st fans are selling tickets like crazy
yup the only way UT will have a big turnout in fans is via scalpers. Especially this short notice. Hit up folks on there and claim you're a Buckeyes fan lol. They don't want vols showing up because if given the change we will orange up the place. Columbus is too short a drive to dissuade our fans. Knox to Columbus is only a 6 hour drive that's well within day trip range for a VFL.

We've heard this before, like for the 2022 Georgia game, and it ended up being about the same as any normal away game attendance. Hope it pans out. It really depends on the other teams fans and how committed they are. Vol fans are always willing to travel.

I agree. We get 3,500 tickets and I’m guessing another 3K-4K get in on their own. Anyone thinking we’ll have 25,000 orange-clad fans there is setting themselves up for disappointment.

“Great to run into Ohio State president Ted Carter at the New Era Forum held at Deloitte University,” Boyd said. “He thinks the stadium may be 30% orange – way to go Vol fans! First game ever played at Ohio Stadium in the month of December, and likely the first below freezing game the Vols have played in decades! Going to be a great game!”

Ohio State president Ted Carter gives expectation for amount of Vol fans in Columbus

Idk but if you punks only bring 25k I’ll be disappointed. No reason you shouldn’t be in Columbus if you can. Hell if you can’t afford a ticket, come party with us before and after the game anyways.

I’ve always wanted to visit their stadium. Would’ve preferred it not to be freezing outside but whatever. Once in a lifetime chance to see vols play in Columbus.
