Since we have played Florida 3 times lol

You can use that joke at work today while filling out your bracket.

In all seriousness though, this UT team has played a strong schedule that has prepared them for the tournament and in my mind has been given a decent draw despite having to play a first round game.

Now, let us put all our squabbling aside for the next few days, fill out our brackets and root for the Vols!

I will continue squabbling cause I like it! :)

Tournament committee hates us, per ESPN mandate!

If we beat Iowa (a big IF), then this is an awesome draw, probably the best we could have hoped for. I'd much rather have this than an 8 or 9 seed!

But, getting past Iowa is a real tossup, given this team's inconsistencies. This probably *should* be Martin's play-in game to coach next year, but it won't be.

How is that a toss-up? They lost 6 of their last 7 games I believe. We will be fine. GBO

TN is probably the best of the play in teams since the expansion. Now, play like it!!!!

It is very simple--- if we come in and are mentally dialed in and keep our self-confidence up, we win. Period. We just played the overall number one seed and basically should have/could have beaten them. We have the physical ability, its going to be all mental preparation.

Doesn't anyone else think this bracket is a nightmare to be in? Most likely route to Sweet 16: Iowa, Umass, Dook, Michigan. That's pretty deep. Then beyond that is Wichita St or Louisville likely.

I absolutely agree it's a nightmare bracket. Wichita St. has their work cut out for them, and that's being nice. I'm very interested to see how the top of this bracket pans out. With UK getting the 8 seed, and UofL the 4, Wichita St. more than has their hands full. And that's not even considering the bottom of the bracket. Should be fun to watch. GO VOLS!

Beating Duke puts us in the Sweet 16. That's where we likely would play Michigan.

So, Iowa, UMASS, and Duke to get to the Sweet 16.

It's a tough bracket for sure. Louisville as a 4 seed is an absolute joke. We have perhaps the least opposing 1 seed, but the best 2, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12 seeds in the tourney IMO.

Really because usually 2 halves usually do make a whole...I was only pointing out that we were in 4 out of 5 of those games we just couldn't pull it out.
That is the main reason that I don't see this team going very far in the tournament. It usually takes pulling out close wins, and we don't pull out close wins. We pulled out one at A&M after time was called.
