I think the top 7 seeds are in a different league than the rest of the field, and none of them will be caught looking ahead. I think Iowa can ride Gustafson to the final 8 as well, so no upsets. Here's my Women's Eilte 8

I'm also picking the 4 no.1s to reach the Final Four, with the UConn-Louisville game being the toss-up. I think Louisville matches up well with them, and pick them to repeat their win. The other close E8 matchup MSST vs Oregon...I don't think Teaira will repeat her disappearing act, and I think the Bulldogs will win a relatively close game.
Baylor and ND is my final pick, with Baylor sending Brown and Jackson off to the WNBA with a title.
I kind of forgot, but what Louisville has going on with injuries is going to be huge in the NCAA tournament. Not having Carter or Fuehring really hurt them in the ACC championship game. If Fuehring isn't good to go they could take an early exit. She is their rebounding, they struggled on the boards BAD when she went out the other day. ND had 23 offensive boards and 21 defensive in that game, out rebounded them by 15.
Was just a busted nose and badly twisted ankle so I assume she'll be good to go, but she was hurting bad the other day. You could tell she wanted to play, but she physically couldn't.
I read that Fuehring was cleared to play in the tournament. She probably could have finished the ACC championship, but Jeff was probably thinking big picture and didn't want to risk making it worse.
I like Sam. She's a gritty, physical player who doesn't back down and is a great leader for the team. She doesn't always have the stats, but she always makes the proverbial game moves that are crucial for the win, but don't show up in the box score.
Question about the tv coverage of teams. Has ESPN ever shown a team live that did not get in? Could the leaks be on purpose?
