We match up good against bama this year

Imo, I think the pressure is on Bama. They are favored by 28, but I think it's going to be closer than that. I think even a close win will hurt Bama in the BCS rankings, after the shalacking we got from Oregon. Bama has to have a statement win this weekend, and I don't think it's going to happen as good as UT has been playing.

A couple turnovers early in the game by us and it could ugly pretty fast .

Or simply just not playing well on defense, missed assignemtns, blown coverages, etc.

I agree on the Turnovers but I think people have seen enough game tape on Cam that they will likely pick on Coleman (who got burned last week.... again....)

I'm not saying this will not come to fruition, but we've heard this EXACT same thing from opposing fans prior to our 2 previous games...

2. Worley needs to keep it one or two times on the read option!

3. Hit some slants and screens!

4. Defense, keep pressure on A. J. and put him on his azz often!

5. Win the turnover battle!

6. And special teams keep doing what your doing!

Gave you a like for the remark Volly but whether we say the Vols don't have chance or they gonna whip Bama like a rented mule won't have much affect on the game's outcome. Don't think any of us made the travel squad this week:)

Bama last 5 gms have allowed 16 Pts. In 6 games this year, teams have reached the red zone 10 times vs Bama.

Not saying we can't compete, but you can't say that Bama's not playing good D.

If Dooley can play them and coach them tight in 3 straight year at halftime, Butch cando the same and take this to the 4th quarter

Butch will have his team believing that they can win this game. They will come out fired up and put some pressure on Bama which they haven't felt since the A&M game. That being said, Bama better be ready because Butch will have his team ready. Win or lose, this will be a fight to the very end!:machgun:

The biggest concern for me is how we will move the ball through the air. It's a glaring weak spot, and a balanced attack is a must if we want to stay in this game.

Yep. Because bama will first take away what we do best and right now that is run the football. If Worley is unable to stretch the field some to open things back up, it will get ugly fast.

Our success against both USCe and UGA was we were able to run the ball effectively and set up to take our shots throwing it. If we can't get 3 or 4 yards consistently on first down its gonna put some strain on Worley. Other than maybe UF, Bamas defense will be the best we've faced This year.

Not to mention some of our biggest pass plays depended upon our receivers going up and making low probability grabs.

As one other poster said, we will need to be successfully converting slants and outs. Bread and butter pass plays.
