The same offense that won 11 and 10 games? Most teams have a bad game. What fans turn on the team AND coach after 1 loss. Did yall ever play sports? Did yall quit after yall loss?

UT could have taken their place atop the SEC with UGA and then Bama losing but we blew it. We blew it big time. We could have been the big player in the SEC and led the conference as the bell cow and we freaking blew it. You don't get this chance every year or even every few years.

You hit the nail on the head. I think this is part of the reason many fans are irate. If it would've been Alabama or Georgia - we would've been like crap this is frustrating but it would've been more justified.

The question is how many more years are we going to get fooled as fans that somehow we've reached the magical elite threshold? You hate to say it but almost stay BVS until this program shows it won't wet the bed.

I wish that were the case but Arkansas had a better game plan and beat us soundly on both sides of the ball. The score should’ve been much more lopsided. They whooped us.

I read a Hogs messageboard during the game, they had long written this off as an L. It wasn't until the clock struck 00:00 that they actually believed it.

Arkansas wasn’t calling any great offensive schemes, Green made plays with his legs that Nico won’t or can’t then on the last drive we dropped back into coverage thinking Arkansas was going to pass when it was obvious they couldn’t. I have never been sold on Tim Banks or Halze. His defense looks great against lesser teams but that’s about it and I don’t know who graded James Pierce as a potential number one draft pick. That is laughable, he is undersized and is like a dog chasing a car. He gets all jazzed up but runs himself out of plays far too often

No they weren't great offensive schemes, they were the right ones. Crossing patterns, rub routes, slants, middle screens, QB runs etc, all within 1-7 yards were what you need with Green. He's not that good. We have a "new" QB with an OL that struggles and we ran none of those.

19 points, and voluntarily giving up the last TD, is MORE THAN enough to have won the game. It should've been over before the 4th quarter. Banks and company tried to hand the game to the O and they couldn't take it.
