We as a fan base need to boycott everything UT, until these stupid, f----n, moron, a--holes running the show get the message that we ain't paying for any more pathetic losers like Dooley and Butch Jones.

We need to stop going to games, or buying anything UT related. Then, and only then will they get the f----n message!!!

Man this SUCKS !!! BUTCH F----N JONES !!! OMG, WE ARE BEYOND A PATHETIC JOKE !!!

I'm so blasted pissed I can't see straight !!!

I'm in. I think something like this is what it's going to take to make a statement that we are not going to take this crap any longer. We all have pride for this university and this is not what we deserve.

I'm not going to turn my back on my University. However, I don't think we're going to need to 'organize' anything. Remember, the University just announced that they're offering select season tickets with no required donation for $300 - now you know why . . .

NO. We as a fan base need to DEMAND better NOW instead waiting through 3 more wasted seasons and being worse off than we are now.

This just f----n sucks, and there is no other way to put it. The a--holes running the show at UT need to be fired and changed, and somebody put in place that has the balls to actually try to compete and win.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I won't spend another f----n dime on anything UT again, until they start caring about winning and competing for championships.

Still too much. I'm not paying almost $50 a game to go watch UT struggle to beat scrubs 2 or 3 times a year and then watch everyone in the SEC run us out of the stadium.

...Didn't everyone already know why?...the department needs money and they needed/wanted to up attendance next year

Think about it... Seriously I grew up a FSU fan and am now a diehard UT fan (have been for two decades). I hate Florida on so many f'ing levels it isnt remotely funny. Dont think for a minute if I got the Florida AD job and I just hired a google coach that I wouldnt be giggling a little inside.


Moral to the story is you sleep with the dogs you wake up with the fleas..

Except this is his job, his salary he brings home for himself and family, as well as his reputation for future hirings or continued employment.

Something tells me - being an adult and all that stuff professionals have with work - he cares a lot more about doing his job (the best he is capable of) than he does about a sports rivalry / snickering and sticking one towards screwing over UT for "good ole Bama"

...and if not, he probably wouldn't have this kind of job

OK, Let me make it clear right off the bat, I'm not knocking Butch Jones, I'm sure he is a fine and respectable man, but he is not the Coach we needed to hire, IMO. We needed someone who can recruit and Coach. Is anyone else wondering, What was wrong with hiring Bobby Petrino? Sure he made a mistake but who among us haven't? He is a proven recruiter and has also proven that he can Coach and hire the correct staff to help him be successful. I think the man deserves a second chance and I know someone will hire him and that program will be successful. Its a shame that we have an AD that doesn't have the Balls to stand up and make the right choice for this university. DH is the one who needs to go! People, I've been a Vols fan for a long time, All the way back to the 60's and I'v set in Neyland and on the road through some pretty tough games but still supported my team. Besides my tickets, I would always buy something Vols related at the games, but, as long as we have the AD that we have in place right now, I will not spend another penny on tickets or Vols items. For me, its not all about winning,but to know what we have running the Athletic Department, someone who, IMO doesn't care about us as fans, the ones who spend our hard earned money to support our team is just more than I can handle. I love the Vols and All who have palyed for us or ever will play for us, but, I will not attend another game until we change AD and get a Coach who can Coach. "Love the Big Orange" and "GO VOLS"

I really hope these fans do boycott. It would make my gameday experience much better to not have to listen to all of this garbage.
