We don't really have many other choices than to let it play out. Just like with Dooley. But, the one thing we can do is recognize this mess and push for change. Until we have a strong AD (Fulmer would give his all), we'll continue to enjoy mediocrity. Time will tell. Our first 'recruiting hall' will be a strong indication. I'm just hoping for a really good staff to back him up.

Something tells me - being an adult and all that stuff professionals have with work - he cares a lot more about doing his job (the best he is capable of) than he does about a sports rivalry / snickering and sticking one towards screwing over UT for "good ole Bama"

He's going to still have his job and he's still going to have his bestest buddy Mal. I have a longer history with ol Dave than most, I am after all an FSU fan also... Lets just say there isnt exactly a lot of people pining away for good ol Dave there.

I am not saying boycott the program, but that man needs to go (however I will say that most games I will be watching from home).

When Mal retires he in another year or two his job is now a little easier. If you dont think this snake in the grass isnt doing some forward thinking your sadly mistaken.

I'll give Jones a chance. He better close out this recruiting class better than Dooley would have. He better hire a phenomenal recruiting and coaching staff. He better start winning sooner than later.

Until all that happens, I won't go to games as a boycott to the idiots and the boosters that supported the decision. I will not renew my season tickets this coming year. I don't want to spend $100 a ticket by the time you include the donation to go watch the Akron game. You can't even give those tickets away anymore.

If he wins then I'll come back. I will drop $3,000 again when what I see on the field is enjoyable to watch in person. I don't see that happening with a spread offense. I can't stand watching a spread. I'll take my kids on a 7 day snow skiing trip in the fall, or go on a Texas deer hunt with my season ticket money until Jones wins, or we hire a new coach.

tennessee is in the dark ages for year to come. we are officially the doormat of the SEC. no donations or games for me i'm done. it is pretty obvious that Tenn does not want to win, so I don't care anymore either. just get the buy out ready in 2 years and have the tool hart hire somebodyelse that isn't qualified.
