We Paid 8 Mil For This?

It was a dumb play to run out of bounds at the end of the game. Period. He also missed a couple throws. But yall need to lay off Nico. Several drops that shoulda been catches in key moments, oline gave him **** protection, and our coach is holding his hand too much. All in all Nico isn’t giving a chance to shine. Shame on the coaching staff. Period.

IMO the most important QB quality is processing speed. It’s also the quality that is probably the most difficult to gauge until you see a young QB against a fast defense with small windows. Nico’s processing speed looked suspect tonight. It’s one game, but it is a data point. Hopefully it’s an outlier.

Last play of the game, rule 1 is don’t get sacked and rule 2 is …….

when he did throw the ball he coudn't hit the broad side of a barn.
Very inconsistent accuracy, seemed to second guess his throwing options, resulting in holding the ball too long. Line, receivers, etc. all contributed. We’ve not seen the ballyhooed Huepel passing attack since Hooker. We usually had two receivers running open on most downfield pass plays. Was Golesh the brains behind the curtain? PENALTIES killed us so many times tonight! How many did we have? Let’s go beat Florida now.

What are you talking about about?
I’m as down on Nico as many but he had a bad night. To name a few, He missed a deep ball to Squirrel, threw low to Squirrel on crossing pattern, missed wide open TE at end of game that would have put us near the ten yard line.
