It was a dumb play to run out of bounds at the end of the game. Period. He also missed a couple throws. But yall need to lay off Nico. Several drops that shoulda been catches in key moments, oline gave him **** protection, and our coach is holding his hand too much. All in all Nico isn’t giving a chance to shine. Shame on the coaching staff. Period.

Everyone should understand that if a coach is calling safe conservative plays it’s because he doesn’t have the confidence his qb won’t make a mistake. The risk / reward doesn’t measure up in the coach’s perspective. If we would see Nico playing with great confidence and making sound decisions when a play goes right and also improvising well when a play goes wrong that’s when the coach opens the playbook.
