We really looking to take 8 OL?

Saban takes quite a few every year. It's a lot easier to move the ball when you have a good line. Even if you have average backs and receivers with a good o-line you'll have a pretty good offense.

It seems like Coleman and Robinson are a pair. I'd guess if Coleman wanted to come then we'd take Robinson too. Then we'd have Cullen and Green and pass on Stone. JMO

I think we are shooting for six, but would take 7 if it is the right players.

I'm going to say we take 6 for sure...I think it's Green, James, Cullen, Stone, Fulton, Pair...

I think we could take a 7th if we miss Willis, Quarles or Lemonier...but I think we land all 3 of them so I'm going with 6

Stone maybe odd man out if Robinson or Coleman commit anytime before NSD.

I think we get 6 maybe 7, Quarles and Lemon will be the difference in 6 or seven but we have a couple of guys on the hook for NSD.

If Stone isnt one of them by now I think he is odd man out. JMO!!!!

I say yes! Add that kinda OL to 3-4 great RB, a good QB(fingers crossed) a hand full of stud WR and more than likely a pre season all american TE, we will have a stout offense!! We have some beast comin in on the defensive side of the ball, wow, I would be more than happy if we got all those OL!!!

Realistically, there will be a lot of these linemen being red-shirted , like Pair, and Stone if we get him.

I really think Coleman will stick with Auburn in the end and without Coleman -- no Robinson. That's our doing, not his.

I'd really like Arie to be in the mix so my list would be: Pair, Fulton, Cullen, Arie, Green, James.

it's a lot easier to take that many when you habitually oversign.

at some point we will have so many committed that no more will wanna sign with us imo...

Not unless they are afraid of the competition and, if so, we probably don't want them here anyway. Some guys don't have the priority of playing immediately. They know they need a year of redshirt with lots of strength training and conditioning to be the SEC caliber talent they want to be.

We need the luxury of numbers for our line.

Competition is something that Lane has always sold.

If you are good enough, you will play.

You mean Wilson? Willis would be on the DL or did I miss something?

No I mean I think we will definitely take 3 more OL's...then if we miss on Willis, Lemonier or Quarles on the DL we will fill that spot with another OL...

I think in a perfect world we end up with Green, Cullen, and Wilson/Stone on the OL and Willis, Lemonier, and Quarles on the DL

Just look at the bowl game....you can have a great RB (Hardesty) and still not be able to run the ball without an offensive line to block for you (18 carries for 39 yards). Games are won and lost in the trenches! Receivers and backs are not as important as offensive and defensive lineman. Bring em on and may the competition be fierce!

Most of the kids aren't afraid of competition but at some point you have to look at the risk vs reward. There are over 100 teams out there and I would hate to be the 2nd best QB in the nation on the same team with the best QB.

With qb's and rb's it is different. You can have the top 6 offensive lineman in the country and all will play.

Early playing time is big for some. After J James commited to UT when asked he said he wanted early playing time and that was why he decommited from UA because of our depth.

not the first time I've heard talk of Stocker being a preseason All-American. not sure where that's coming from as he wasn't even second team All-SEC.
