We should have run the ball BETTER

Well, if the QB hits a receiver every now and then, it softens them up a bit. If the QB keeps the ball on the supposed option every now and then, and gains even 5 yards, it makes the defense think at least a little. If Sam Pittman (possibly the best offensive line coach in the country) is retained, maybe the offensive line lives up to it's billing.

Oh. And Neal's running better than he ever has, which still isn't great, but Lane's still the better back and should've gotten more of the carries.

Damn straight!

I see enough dancing around and racing to the sideline watching middle school ball.

Have some vision, put your head down and move the chains.

Combo this with a QB who can run and keep the defense honest we would be much better. We only use two of the three options.

I think we have a good oline but all they are good at is pass blocking always have and always will be. and then mix that with the read option and a QB who cant run it just looks awful. coach needs to punt put the Beast at fullback and start lining up in I formation and pound the rock with some iso's and throw some slants.

what I didn't get was Worley threw the ball to the tightend the most yesterday and he is the slowest guy on the field. can we not line Croom up in his spot and add a little speed

When you are behind 35-7 at the half, you can't do worse by letting Fergy and Dobbs get some game experience. Being about the roughest experience, you could get a good measure of how they can handle adversity.
