I thought it was campaign speak.
I think closing the boarder is part of solving the problem. I never thought it would happen or Mexico would pay for it.

But I’m not a republican. I do tend to be a conservative small business man so I thought I’d chime in.

I'd guess a week or two? Everyone that likes the idea is currently forwarding it to their friends, telling people at work, and sharing it on facebook in hopes of getting donations. Once that traffic starts to decline, so will the daily donation.

I might come back in a month to see what the donation level is at. My guess is significant reduction from what it is now. I'd think a fun bet for those on the forum that feel strongly would be an over/under for total donation at a certain date.

Rubio was offering support for his block for disaster relief consideration. Not exactly pork but yeah the wheelin and dealin is happening. Only a matter of time for some beach front management services in central Kansas

Or... he is standing by his statement that he wouldn’t do it again after that last POS ombudsman bill. Go after him for agreeing to this present POS CR and reneging on the wall stance and a bunch of us red hats would agree with you.

He wasn't going "stand by it" until he watched Fox news morning hosts take a massive steaming dump on him. LOL, don't think for a second he's doing it because he made a promise and want's to keep it.

Actually the rumint is that several Repubs implored him to stand fast even to shut down if it came to that and they would have his back. They had Walker from the Freedom Caucus on making that statement. Nobody believes anything will happen for two years after the current session so it’s now or never.

If you want to play the how it would look card I think that’s what got us to the current backdown stance. I agree, how he looks to the masses is yuge and bigly to him. Feeds his narcissism.

Additionally this is one last chance to cause RINO Ryan pain and grief so that’s bonus. 😂
