Kirby. ****ing Kirby always has answers for us. Always finds a way to score, always finds a way to stop us, always makes the better adjustments at halftime. Its infuriating.

We hung 52 on Nick in '22 and Kirby shut us down. 75 yd TD on 1st play last year at home and Kirby shut us down. No one scored more than 19 on us this year and Kirby hangs 31 with a struggling Carson Beck when they need it most. Will we ever get over the Kirby hump?

No rational Tennessee fan or other NCAAF fan had them winning this game at UGA preseason. There were some positives and negatives, especially the inability to pressure Carson Beck.

The fumbles getting overturned were very frustrating and swung momentum in the game at the time.

If they end up 10-2 it’s a solid season but don’t expect the committee to put them in the playoffs.

It will be some **** bowl game.

We beat bama , Kirby doesn’t do that. Georgia had a fifth year senior at home with their backs against the wall. The game came down to them winning bc of home field advantage , we’re at or over the hump, bc id take our vols against Georgia at home tomorrow.

Every coach has a kryptonite coach and Heupel is 0-4 against Smart in his Tennessee tenure.

Kirby inherited a loaded team, Heupel inherited a gutted team with sanctions pending. He’s done more for this program than any coach we’ve had since Fulmer. He’s building it the right way, it takes time. Tonight’s game was competitive into the fourth quarter for the first time since 2016. Let that sink in.

Dumb thread.

Kirby has been building this monster for nearly a decade, and Richt left him a pretty full cupboard to begin with. Heupel is in year four, and already the margin between the two teams is pretty thin. Sark and Deboer will have something to say, but the Kirby-Heupel matchup may be the SEC’s most important fore the foreseeable future.

He's not wrong though. We just got clowned by a horrible qb, because we couldn't adjust to nothing. Also, they adjusted to us, and shut us down. I'd rather lise to bama and Florida than Georgia, it's frustrating. At work now, griwn men freaking barking since the second half, and you can't argue it. They're right, we're not what we thought we were. Our coaches gotta learn to at least try something different.

Eh we are building something ourselves. We will have good chances to beat them in the future. We still have a young offense and we should be better in the future.

They’ve lost like 1 game (to a team other than bama) in the last 5 years. They’ve on top and have the confidence of a championship team, they still have way more talent than us, they were at home, and they were playing for their season. It was always going to be really tough. That being said, we weren’t going to beat them without taking shots down the field. You can’t dunk and dunk expecting to string a bunch of 15+ play drives together. That’s not a winning formula.

Well the good news is this Georgia team is not winning the “natty” or even sniffing it. They got help from the officials to escape tonight’s game with a win.

10-2 is not solid. Not when one of the losses is to Arkansas.

2021 - Heupel was left with what ashes of a program Pruitt left behind. We were under investigation and no recruit wanted to touch us with a 10 foot pole. I think we onlybhad 70 something scholarship players.

Kirby on the other hand was in year 6 of his program, had multiple top 10 finishes, and on his way to winning the National Championship.

2022 - Year 2 of Heupel. Amazing season, but the roster was still depleted. UGA game was on the road. They were reigning national champions on their way to winning a 2nd championship.

2023 - Heupel still building up his roster. This was the first top 15 recruiting class Huepel was able to muster up. Momentum is building, but this season was mostly a bridge year. Milton was the QB and his ceiling was obviously limited. Heupel chose to preserve Nico's RS year. UGA was a top 5 team looking to three peat as National Champions. They would fall short due to one last coaching clinic by Nick Saban.

2024 - Huepel has another top 15 recruiting class. Nico's first year at QB. Georgia looks vulnerable, but game is still on the road with their season on the line.

All this to say, Heupel is still building this thing up. Kirby didn't beat Saban until year 6 at Georgia. He inherited a much healthier program than Heupel. Sure, he has had two really good teams (2022 and 2024) that fell short, but those games took place on the road. Even then, Heupel is ahead of schedule. I'm sure its jist a matter of time until he beats Kirby. Lets not help the national media make up boogeyman narratives to hang over the program.

I'm not saying Heup hasn't done a great job, he has. I'm saying Kirby has his number and I'll be glad to be proven wrong.

A horrible qb 😂. This guy was a preseason Heisman favorite. He just sucks under pressure and has been trying to force throws. Granted, we made it way too easy on him tonight.

Tennessee causing saban to consider the retire in year 2, being #1 in nation and top 5 this year, beating Bama and UF twice, excited for Heupel Highway to be a road soon
