When have I ever said time is linear????

"Something cannot come from nothing". That implies everything had a beginning. Something doesn't need to come from nothing if "nothing" wasn't there.

I simply said evolution is a theory and needs to be treated as such.

No one has shown how you can create something out of nothing and until they can achieve it in a lab it is A THEORY.

Again, why insist something had to come from nothing?

yes we got here. It had to of happened.

But since no one can prove how it happened it means it is a theory.

Relativity is a theory. Yet, we design satellites and many technologies on a day-to-day basis based on its prinicples (time slowing down at higher speeds). You can't prove it in a lab, but you can observe its effects. Its why they have to synchronize GPS satellites periodically because the clocks on the satellites get off from the clocks on earth.

We can't re-create the big bang in a lab, yet we can empirically prove the universe is expanding and cooling, suggesting it was smaller and hotter.

All this nonsense about lab experiments is stupid. If the theory can accurately explain physical phenomenon then it has merit. The big bang, for all its faults, explains quite a bit of observations made by cosmologists. Same goes for ToE with biologists, palentologists, botanists, etc.
