Weed in College Football

There's a much, much higher percentage of THC in it. Back in the 1970s, it was about 2% THC; now, some reports suggest it's close to 20% THC.

I'll repeat as I have before. Some of the best athletes I have seen in person, on the playground, in the gym, etc, smoked weed. Some would smoke in between pickup games in Memphis back in the late 80's and into the late 90's. It's bound to have some affect on a developing brain as a kid is going to school, but it didn't have an adverse affect on anyone I saw, athletically. Just made them nicer when they dunked on you, or ran the court for about 10 games without losing.

Sounds like performance enhancing drug.

So does this mean we will win the national championship this year? cause i have heard folks at work say our starting qb and 1,000 yard receiver smoke it. i think i also remember seeing this rumor on here at one time. i hope they have quit it if they did cause we don't need these types of incidents or players on are team. i'd be willing to bet dooley nipped it in the bud if they smoked it. as jackson was booted for it.

look at the kid from LSU. He's like 5'7 and was a heisman candidate. He can hit, track the ball and return kicks with the best. He also smokes, obviously. Is it affecting his ability on the field, when he's not kicked off the team? If anything, it enhanced it.

How does it even help you? I mean, I almost wouldn't mind playing a team that was filled with players who were high lol.

when many athletes get to a certain level, it's the mental aspect that is the deciding factor. Many athletes don't need to think, and when they do, athletes that are not thinking run circles around them. It's a fine line, but some players can definitely benefit, mentally. Of course, it can be a detriment to some as well.
I don't know. I got dunked on by too many high guys to think it would adversely affect athletic ability.

I'd even venture to say that if I had a 7 foot putt to win a pga event, I wouldn't be near as nervous if I had just used a one hitter on the fairway. As a matter of fact, i'd say my chances of making the putt in that situation are enhanced because of the nerves aspect.

That is enough proof right there that weed should be legal. If Michael Phelps can smoke weed and win gold medals, I can do it too.

I ran track and got a scholarship to MTSU and I smoked weed a lot. I ran the 400 (toughest race in track and field).

Nick Diez had a Victory taken away in a mma fight for being high during the fight.
The NSAC said weed calms the fighter giving him an unfair advantage.

i did not know that instance, but it makes sense.

Worst thing a fighter can do is to get nervous or too hyped, then go out fast, then adrenaline leaves his body in the dust.
Is a pill like Xanax allowed in various sports? I figure that would be an advantage as well.
