Records shouldn't be based on a team's record, necessarily, especially when LSU struggles to beat Tennessee at home and looks awful doing so.
They barely squeaked by a completely depleted UNC team, and they didn't exactly look that great against their best opponent this year, an unranked W. Va team that they faced at home, no less.
Florida will expose them on Saturday, no worries.

That, plus your whole records shouldn't be based on records, and and an example from last year doesn't matter because that was year, and so on and so on.

I said that they shouldn't necessarily be based on records. Records matter, but they don't mean a whole hell of a lot if you're playing a mediocre schedule and looking pitiful, even in close wins.
You said "records shouldn't be based on records". Perhaps you meant poll standings shouldn't be based on records, but even when questioned, you continued to assert that "records shouldn't be based records". Not what I would I would expect from someone that had any idea what they were talking about.
