I wonder how the whole Trump thing will go in the future as far as "setting a precedence". People mentioned earlier and have since stopped using the phrase (because CNN stopped) constitutional crisis. If a sitting President has charges levied on him/her for something they didnt do while actually President...then we get our constitutional crisis.

Yep, a red state will repay the favor to the next Dem POTUS and so on and so on. And we wonder why we are getting the caliber of candidates we do.

I dunno, honestly.. I don't necessarily believe Trump will be sunk.

I don't care to argue about making poor decisions that result in a Special Council being appointed by the controlling party, but checks and balances are in place, and in control of the Republicans, as well.

If it can go bad in this situation, it can happen anytime.

Sunk or not this entire thing opens the door to appointing special counsels to basically do anything they want to anyone and enabling law enforcement to paint with even broader strokes in regards to bringing charges on someone. Hell people are saying conspiracy to not commit a crime is now a crime.. :rolleyes:
