For anyone in the Kville area-

March 28, 2010

Welcome the Vols' history-making men's basketball team back to Knoxville on Sunday night.

The team will arrive at McGhee Tyson Airport at approximately 9 p.m. from St. Louis. Fans can greet the team in the baggage claim area.

Here's hoping Coach Pearl, his staff, Wayne, JP, Scotty, Bobby, Steven, Renaldo, Melvin and all of the other players are cutting the nets down in a couple of hours.

I've thrown up twice this morning so far because I'm so nervous for them.....the last time I was this nervous about a game was the Nat'l Title Game against F.S.U.

I'm going, and I would encourage everyone in the area to as well. This team made history, it is the least we can do.

Wish I could be there. I was there to welcome them back after beating Memphis to jump to UT's first #1 ranking, but obviously this is a much bigger accomplishment.

I hope some people come out. I'm sure they could use it. Very tough loss to take for them i'm sure. But they need to be reminded what a fantastic run they put together and how proud everyone is.

Sounds like there was a nice turnout, I hope so, I would have love to been there but a 6 hour drive for a welcome home party is a little much.
