May sound bad but I'm glad they're upset. It shows me they know UT bball belongs on that level and aren't just happy to make it. Plus it will give them some motivation in the offseason.

Don't get me wrong, my heart breaks for them but I hope they can use it

Very good turnout. Rocky Top was playing, and the shakers were out. Cheering and "I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol" chants as they came down the escalator. Noticed Cannington and Tony Jones were wiping away tears, everyone else looked sad. It lightened up as the players signed autographs and talked with people. It's got to be tough for them I'm sure, doubt any of them will be getting much sleep tonight.

Figured someone wouldn't get it but no matter

The teams you mentioned have motivation hanging from the rafters, UT doesn't. Our players had already accomplished more than any team in our history and could have been content with that.

The problem is the players most responsible for the success won't get another chance to use this as motivation.

I can honestly say i thought we would be gone in the second round, then again i thought they would be playing Georgetown(who's to say they wouldn't have beat them had they played them). The loss stings, what a dance for these men. I'm darn proud to be a Tennessee Vol!!

This is what is great about being a Tennessee Vol, Kentucky rioted on their campus last night and tonight when our boys came home our great fans were there to support the team.

I wish I could have been there. Sounds like a good time! Unfortunately I'm still driving back from the game and I'm in Kensucky!

I get your intended point, and
No offense, or pun intended, but that's apples to oranges.

Told Bobby, Wayne, and JP "Thanks for the memories", and they seemed appreciative. Bobby seemed the most dispondent out of all of 'em, but you can definately understand how the guys wouldn't be overly upbeat.

was A LOT of fun. You could tell they appreciated it. And they returned the favor...taking pictures, shaking hands, and signing autographs for a good 40 minutes. Kenny Hall told me I should get on the court! (I'm 6'6'').lol. so glad I went.

Already excited for next year.

This may have been reported already on VN, but a member on another board said Chism had a throng around him when someone yelled, "Wayne, what's your favorite memory in the last 4 years?" Supposedly, without hesitation, he said, "This one!"

That's absolutely awesome if true.

Nice job those who went. Too bad I live 6 hours from Knoxvegas or I would have been there. They had a hell of a run when no one expected them to do this 3 months ago

Thanks, I appreciate you putting up the pics and comments. All I could do was start a thread hoping people would see it and get there. Me, I'm about 1900 miles away. Really appreciate, though.:good!:
