I have a feeling Brandon Spikes will have a huge game.

I am not confident, per se. I think the team will be as prepared as possible because I think history is now showing that the Gators have some pretty good coaches and I simply have to hope that the Gators play well and catch breaks.

Now, I remember once before, around about 1996, that Florida played a B12 team for all the marbles. Florida, people said, had too much speed for Nebraska and that Nebraska could not keep up with the Gators.

Nebraska proceeded to give my team the worst beat down since 1982 (or was it '84) when a Herschel Walker-led Georgia made us look downright silly. Nebraska was the fast team. They beat the living crap out of Florida -- even broke Jacquez Green's leg.

I will not understimate a B12 team in the title game ever again.

That being said, I do think this is a very fun match-up and it could be a really good game. Hope so, anyway.

Especially since it is on my birthday.

What people are you referring to ?, anybody that knew anything whatsoever about football would not have said anything remotely that stupid about that Nebraska squad going against that gator squad.
