A lot of people did. Go back and read the threads after NC State. Most of them were flamed uncontrollably, but they were there.

It really was surprising how many people couldn't see Dooley for what he was.

We should say ney. We could get a lead but not for long with our sloppy defense in tackling & our slow DB's that get out run to the end zone. :ermm: We couldn't beat Kent St. if we played them in a bowl.

This season ended up being nothing more than a skid mark in the underwear of the UT football programs history. Comparably speaking.

Go back and look at the anxiety and excitement for the season. In May, June, & July people couldn't wait for the season to get here. I get it that there are a lot of younger people on here and they're anxious.

The bottom line is that the football season goes way too fast. Don't rush it. Look at the enthusiasm after the NC State game only to be deflated after the UF game.

My advice is, as next year approaches (new coach) keep it all in perspective. 24 hour sports news and chat boards aren't the best things in the world. Don't live and die by whatever some jerkoff writes or blogs. The game isn't played on the Internet or by the written word. Just enjoy it.

DVR'd the game today (kentucky) just finished watching the replay. WE WON......big deal.....thank god we played kentucky...they are worse than we are. Had we played a vandy or miss state or anybody else we would have lost another sec game. With Bray, Patterson, Hunter and who ever else leaves for the NFL, next season looks just as bad as this season no matter who's HC....tennessee is in for a long dry season of piss poor football.

Just hope we get a good coach... so tired of losing. Tenn has been everyones *****...time for change. Time to kick tail anx get some revenge and respect.

This was a tough few months. I'm trying to determine if I can get myself as excited for the beginning of 2013 season as I did for the 2012 season. Kinda don't want to set myself up for that big of a let down again. Perhaps I'll forget the massive disappointment over the next few months and be ready to roll next fall. Hope so.
