This team will not make the tournament. NO CHANCE. JP Prince should not be playing D1 basketball nor should Tabb. This team needs some serious help.
I can't believe a lowlife Memphis fan is in here telling us how lucky we are that our conference sucks. You obviously have not watched any other SEC teams play. Vols have luxury of playing in a weak SEC this year (and last year for that matter). UT and Ark. are 2 best teams in SEC. Tournament bid is a guarantee.
Vol fans should be grateful that a down year is making the tournament, even if you lose in the 1st round. Let's face it, UT basketball has been no juggernaut in CBB. I remember when a good year was having a winning season and making the NIT.

So much for trying to talk some Vol fans off the ledge.
Just stating the facts. Seems there are some posts on this very board that talk about how bad the SEC is this year. Tune into ESPN and the Top 25 for that matter and you will see for yourself that I am not alone in saying this.
Just saying Vols are fortunate that in a year they are having trouble gelling, the SEC is down. Some teams SEC teams have lost to this year: Utah (3), Illinois-Chicago, Loyola-Chicago, Texas A&M CC, Missouri State, Southern Miss, Dayton, Mercer (2), No. Iowa, College of Charleston, VMI, Charlotte, & New Mexico. Every team has at least one "bad loss" except for the Vols and LSU. If the teams the Vols are going to play can be beaten by these teams, the Vols should have no problem waltzing through the SEC.
As with the Tigers, you have no control over how good or bad your conference is in any given year. All you can do is beat the teams on your schedule.
We're well aware of the facts thanks. And we need no help with the ledge. So much for trying to talk some Vol fans off the ledge.
