To quote ZZ Top: "We're Bad, We're Nationwide."
But the Vol influence is not limited to the borders of the United States.
I've seen Vol hats, shirts, bumper stickers, etc. all around the world from Angkor Wat to Andorra, from Bangkok to Bangladesh, from Zanzibar to Zürich. Vol appeal is universal.

For some reason I feel like you left out the town of Bucksnort.

I was at Camp Pendleton in 74/75 and people thought I was weird wearing Tennessee Orange when I was out of uniform.

Ex and I lived outside of Fallbrook and I don't think anyone there knew what a Vol was, LOL!

I educated a few though.

I'll always be semper fidelis to my Tennessee Vols!

On game days everybody is wearing ORANGE, but after a lose I go in and I am the only one with a Tennessee cap on, some true ORANGE fans I wear my cap win or lose even after a 40 point beat them, and still damn proud to be a TENNESSEE VOL FAN.

At games and when I return from Knoxville on Sundays after a game the previous day, I'm practically orange from head to toe. I don't put Vol stuff on my car. Not for lack of pride. A student and an instructor at EKU were Vols fans and had Vol decals. Someone took a knife or key or something and scratched the cars up big time. But I take great relish in returning home, especially after a victory, go into the local Walmart and "shop." The looks on people's faces is worth it. I do get a few smiles and fist pumps from time to time.

I've put this on here before & I apologize for doing it again, but we were in Israel a number of yrs. ago. As we were walking up the steps inside the hotel [with me wearing all orange] I heard "Go Big Orange". It was a young lady and I said, "Whoa, did you just say 'Go Big Orange'" I asked, "Where are you from". She said, "Israel"..I had to know the story..She said, "My entire family are Big Orange fanatics." She said that her grandfather sent each grandchild to a home game each yr. She had been to the Fla. game and unfortunately we lost it...That was a real beginning to a great vacation...You're right..They are EVERYWHERE...

My buddy sent me this pic today from LA. Daniel was there filming for ESPN/Sport Science tackling my buddy's boss. The guy on the left is his manager, some guy that played at UT with Reggie White named Tommy or Sammy Simms

I was in New Orleans for a few days over this past weekend. I always had on something orange. I got at least 3 random "Go Vols" shouts. One was at the zoo, another in the Marriott Hotel lobby, and another near Bourbon Street. That doesn't even count the few other times I passed someone wearing a power T and in the crowd it didn't register until I had passed them by.

If UT was winning you wouldn't be screaming as much.

My wife tells me to stop watching the games. I just give her the look! :gun:
