Does Tennessee have a good chance wiht Zach West tommorow and does anybody know any signs that we are the leaders for Cameron Clear and Antonio Richardson :)

everything Ive read indicates West's leader is Kentucky.

Clear & Tiny, yes. we have a marksmen at 50 yards shot at them

West has us in his top 5...though UK seems to be the leader
Clear lists the gators as his favorite...but I think we still have a chance
Richardson is hard to get a read on IMO

I'd say we have about a 0% chance of West verbally committing to the Vols tomorrow. We might have a very small chance to sway him if we want between now and NSD but I don't see us pursuing him that much. I still think he would be a take if he would commit now but I think we are in for similar talent and will not waste time pursuing him.

Richardson is between us and Bama. I like our chances of landing him when all is said and done but it will go to NSD.

Clear seems to be between us and UF at this point. I like our chances in the end but I'm less sure of him than Richardson. This could play out like Teague's recruitment of a few years ago.

Hubbs said over on VQ yesterday that West is NOT commiting to UT. He feels the staff is saving 1 more spot on the OL & it's for Richardson. I read about a month ago that Richardsons parents really love Dooley. It's a UT/Bama battle that UT will win out on NSD.

I would rather have Antonio Richardson. Hopefully, CDD and company can get this guy to play for his state university. I would love to see us get the top player in tennessee 3 years in a row.

Donovan Clark will be announcing tomorrow as well as West....Clark is a 3* OL from OH(Tennessee, Michigan State, Cinncinnati)

So I guess that means they are including Clear as a TE

Yes. The staff has been telling Clear they will give him a chance at TE, if it doesnt work out then he will be moved to the OL. The staff has also been selling him on possibly playing some DE for us on situational downs.

Need to save room for some DT's, LB's, & DB's. Plus if we end up with Clear he will eventually be moved to OL anyways so it's like were signing another OL except he's coming in under a TE title.

I think Clear would make an unbelievable TE, if he can manage his weight. I also think he could make a killer OT, DE, and DT. We need Clear.

With the way Dooley uses his TE's I wouldn't be so sure about that. In a lot of cases he likes to use the TE as basically a 6th lineman. I would not put it past Clear staying at TE if he picked Tennessee. He'd be able to stay inside and block a lot and catch a few passes from time to time like he wants to. Either way you recruit the kid at the position he wants to play because he is that important to this class.

I have said before that at this point, we would not take a commitment from either West or Clark. Our current OL commitments are solid and we are saving room for Richardson and Clear, both of whom we are in good shape with.
