If he is mediocre then what we have is slightly above Pop Warner talent because he threw for 500 yards against Maryland and has thrown for around 200 yards in the first half against OU
If he's not mediocre then why didn't he perform accordingly while at FSU? Surely he was surrounded by better talent.
And Maryland as one of your examples is not much proof. Worley's first 2 opponents would likes beat Maryland. In addition WVU's o-line is by all accounts better than ours. Worley played a great game vs OU. I went back and watched the replay last night cause I was at the game and I couldn't believe the throws he made. WR did not help him out much. He was something like 12-17 in the first half vs OU. All that while having minimal time to release it. Herbstreit said if it wasn't out in 2 seconds he had no chance. Folks who put that game on Worley didn't pay much attention to the actual game and follow stats too much.
