Western Kentucky at Vanderbilt, Thursday at 8pm on SECN

Vandy has scored 3 points against a defense that allowed 40 points 8 times last year.

This can't be emphasized enough. I doubt they're that bad again this year, but woof. Their D is probably still pretty bad. Hard to tell when they're playing against a team like Candy.

WKU's dumbass penalty resulted in good field position for Candy. Just dumbass penalties.

WKU's TE look good though. Big dudes.

Andre Ware just said that Chubb was the most complete RB of the 4 they showed on the screen (Chubb, Fournette, Webb and Hurd) because "he's good at catching the ball out of the backfield".

Somebody needs to tell Andre that Chubb had 18 catches last year.....while Hurd led ALL SEC rbs with 35. If he wants to say he's a better runner then yeah, no doubt, no argument. But don't make an ignorant statement like that.

That McRayRay is not a D1 QB and Mason will ride him to a losing season to prove a point about sticking to his decisions. All in all, the first rational thought I've read over there.

I was surprised. Thought they would be calling it a fluke but they actually acknowledge WKU could be winning by a lot more.

Has anyone else noticed that vandy's pants have a mesh-like 'material on the sides, or is it just me?

Their game thread has less than 70 posts, so not very much.

This is their opening game of the season and last I checked they had about 340 posters currently logged into the site over there. It's a slow night in Volnation....we have about 3650 right now. Lol.

Perhaps Mason would be a better Vandy coach if he had the players that Bobby Johnson left Franklin rather than the bad players that Franklin left him.

100 years or so of Vandy history tells me it doesn't really matter what coach left what to who.

1 guy won.

every other guy coached the laughing stock of the SEC.
