Western Kentucky at Vanderbilt, Thursday at 8pm on SECN

I remember when Franklin was hired at Vanderbilt.

Everyone said watch out for Vandy, cause that cupboard is FULL. They're loaded.

You just knew you weren't going to be able to take Vanderbilt for granted.

Not with the arsenal that was stockpiled upon his arrival.

It was like stealing.

We get it, you're the president of the Franklin club.

Again, UT was at its lowest point ever and Fla was down too. Even UGA had a down year with a losing season. He came in at the perfect time. He was great for them, but I'd like to see what he would've done with a strong UT and Fla like usual.

A ton of them. He had redshirted nearly the entire 2013 class. Most all the guys you're seeing out there are Franklin's.

I was being facetious.

Still, these defensive guys weren't recruited for the 3-4. I think the defense at least would be decent had they stayed in the 4-3.

I think guys like Kimbrow and Cunningham would've done better under Franklin, too. Pretty sure they lost another WR (Burse?) to transfer as well.

I hear you, but it's Vandy. You see what you're watching here.

They can't handle Western Kentucky and numerous other scrubs.

You don't usually have to be "up" to beat Vandy.

This is the Vandy we all know and love and remember. The worst of the worst that wouldn't beat a "down" Tennessee or Florida on Vandy's best day.

Well he did inherit the best receiver in Vandy history.

Did Franklin have anything to do with getting Rodgers/Stacy/Matthews? Arguably the three best at their position in VU history (Rodgers had only 2 years, but still threw for 4000+). Obviously VU doesn't have amazing history but it's still a great trifecta at the right time.
