In high school, they had an annual summer basketball tournament in Austin around the 4th of July and we would usually drive up to Luckenbach for Willie Nelson's annual picnic there.

We used to go to the Wille Nelson 4th of July Picnic at Atlanta Motor Speedway (then Atl Intnat'l Raceway). The infield would be packed out.

Texas was one of those teams I liked to watch and pull for, especially against Oklahoma. I loved watching when Colt McCoy played, perfect name for a Texas QB. I liked Vince Young too.

I'll pull for them against Alabuckinfama this week, but beginning next year they just another SEC team I'll pull for only when it benefits us directly. Like any other SEC team.
