I think it's a rock solid, indisputable statement to say George Washington was a traitor. How can it be argued otherwise?

Because George Washington was on the winning side, he's regarded as a patriot. Not so much for Robert E Lee and others though ... because they lost. Funny how winning and losing changes viewpoint when people rebel. What's even more interesting is that your "hero" Lincoln wrote that when people are dissatisfied with their government, they have the right to rise up against the government ... of course, that was before he became president.

Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world.
