6 families lost loved ones in the shooting so I would hardly say anything about it was a miracle

is it not a legit question? I understand it's amazing the woman is doing so well but what about the others? Why do they not get the same divine intervention she gets?

all posts seem reasonable to me. i'm very happy for the giffords and feel badly for the others. IP agreeing that anything was a miracle from God will happen when SGM agrees that Dooley is a good coach. :)


... and in this case IP may actually have a better argument. :p

By definition miracles have to be inexplicable...in other words contrary to natural explanation.

Should she be thankful to God she is alive....I certainly would be. Does that imply that something contrary to natural events occured when the bullet entered her head. No.

Regardless of your views on divine intervention I'd say this is evidence that our HC quality ain't so bad...

I wasn't scoffing at anyone for thanking God for her doing so well, to be sure, but rather that God miraculously intervened to save her. "Miraculously" being the key word. And as others have said, seems strange to praise God for saving this one and letting others that were far more innocent die.


Side note: Not to be one of the true fan police, but what's up with the Georgia logo?

Certainly didn't mean to imply that you were scoffing anyone... just making a comment. Regarding the "far more innocent" statement, is that just a misquote of some type? Not sure I understand why some would be more innocent than the others... unless you are just referring to the fact that Giffords was the "target".
