colts barely play their starters and seahawks play thiers all game just so this ego maniac alexander can get a rushing title and td record. all that the colts have went through this week, i think they deserve better. the seahawks had everything all but wrapped up and they still played selfishly. i hope they get destroyed in their first playoff game. hate hate hate these guys. when they play a team who is talented and trying they will lose.

hate to see a guy like priest holmes lose this record. especially to alexander's bammer ass.

No, how about Seattle still had homefield advantage on the line? Sheesh. Don't get me wrong, what happened to Dungy and the Colts family was awful, but was Seattle supposed to not show up?

milo they had this game won by halftime. i didnt say they shouldnt win. i said that they played thier starters all the way. alexander was still scoring in the 4th qt. that is what my point was. not that they were trying to win.

i knew u would defend a northwest team.

After what happened to Alexander last year, I can't say that I blame them for leaving him in.

forget that. he shouldnt be worried about records. plus he is a bammer so screw him and the sh*thawks.

cant believe u are defending him ga.

What am I defending? I don't see that it was that big a deal. They were down on the goal line and were going to score anyway.

i just dont like the seahawks and i cant stand alexander. i figured someone would agree.

why the hell did alexander need to be in there in the 4th qt when the game was all but over?

I agree... Alexander is quickly turning into a selfish chowderhead. 'Course, I guess he already was. Pitched the fit last year about not getting "his" rushing title, and today he was jumping up and down to score a touchdown for himself... whatta loser.

I guess Seattle thought they was making a statement by beating the Jim Sorgi lead Colts..lol...I think it showed alot that the NFC's best team only beat the Colts backups by 2 td's....Remember last year when Peyton was going for the 49 td's how many games he didn't play in the 4th quaters because the games were blowouts, now that's class Seattle. I'm to worried about them winning the NFC, I think Chicago will beat them anyways.

Didn't the 'Skins already beat them once? And that was earlier in the year, before Washington had started to peak.

The Titans had Seattle beat last week, and the 'Hawks only put 28 points up on Indy's banged up/half the team not playing defense. The NFC is horrid. You could say whichever team gets hot here in the last week or so could win the NFC, but teams like the Cowboys and Panthers prove almost weekly that no team in the NFC can be trusted to bring it every week on a consistent basis.

gonna have to disagree with ya for once cc. i dont blame the seahawks for playin him. i woulda done the same thing, but not out of disrespect. ut did a similar thing a few years back in the citrus bowl when they played michigan. tenn was up 45-17 continued to play clausen even the backup qbs coul have played. many think it was so he could get 400 yards(which he didnt. had to settle for 393).

 I'll tell you what, if the Skins can continue to score 30+ a game, they will beat more than just the Seahawks. That defense is wicked.

As sorry as they were near the end of Emmitt's career there, I wouldn't think they'd be in as many situations as the Seahawks were yesterday.

I read an article where they actually did pull him from the game, but he snuck back in when they got to the goal line. Still, it was just a 28-13 game. It's not like anybody ran the score up.

Didn't the Cowboys used to do the same thing to help Emmitt get his numbers for the rushing title?
Emmitt still had a few years left in him by the time he got the rushing title... Altough I'm sure they set up the games so he could do it at Texas Stadium.

Right. Maybe they should have put in their backup? Huh?

I was thinking more about when Emmitt was winning rushing titles and the boys were winning Super Bowls.

I was thinking they left him in a couple of games after the outcome was already decided so he could wrap up the rushing title. I may be wrong, but I thought I remembered that.

You would not try and break an NFL record if you were in the position to do so?
I bet nobody on this board was crying about Manning trying to break the TD record last year.

I was going to mention that but I thought someone else might bring it up.

I wonder if some thought Ripken should sit and not break Lou Gehrig's streak.
