YES!!
I couldn't recall the movie with Tubular Bells. I have never watched the The Exorcist. It just never intersested me.I should have used blue font, since both sides of the album are actually ONE song. Also, it was the theme song for "The Exorcist".
Re Tusk: Good Album but it definitely has some weak songs. I think ole Buckingham got a little too much magic dust and went really weird on some of his contributionsThe Beatles - Abbey Road
Pink Floyd - The Wall, Darkside of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, Tusk
Bee Gees - Main Course (this is an underrated album)
Didn't buy the album, but my sister gave it to me long ago...maybe she tired of the same "song". "The Exorcist" is a movie with great acting & effects, but be prepared for getting disturbed, frightened. Yikes!I couldn't recall the movie with Tubular Bells. I have never watched the The Exorcist. It just never intersested me.
I Listened to the album many times about 50 years ago.
Yeah, one side is part 1 and the other is part 2.
No vocals, & just one performer: Mike Oldfield. A most unique (yet somewhat tedios) production. CORRECTION: Checking liner notes, it lists a string bass, flute, drums & choir. Oldfield played all guitars, keys, electric bass, bells, etc.Does Tubular Bells have any singing? I think a woman reads off a list of instruments
Nice listI've got a little different taste but I've seen a lot here that I agree with. These are whole albums I have saved on Spotify. Kind of all over the place, genre-wise.
Thrice has a couple of great albums where I don't skip anything-
Artist in the Ambulance (the Revisited version is even better)
Vheissu
Radiohead has a ton as well-
OK Computer
Kid A
In Rainbows
A Moon Shaped Pool
Weezer- Blue Album
Led Zeppelin IV (my first CD)
The Shins- Oh, Inverted World (amazing live show, too)
Friendly Fires- Pala
Sturgill Simpson- Ballad of Dood & Juanita
Atreyu- A Death Grip on Yesterday
Jungle- Jungle
Drake- More Life
Bombay Bicycle Club- So Long, See You Tomorrow
Disclosure- Settle
Washed Out- Purple Noon
Haim- Days Are Gone
Kendrick Lamar- good kid, m.A.A.d. city
Vampire Weekend- Contra
Tool- 10,000 Days
Aesop Rock- None Shall Pass
HONNE- Love Me/Love Me Not

Funny story, a radio station in Columbus Ohio had a survey of who people wanted to see, overwhelming favorite was Def Leopard, it was sometime in the early 80’s. When tickets went on sale people were camping out for a few days, the people at the front got trampled when the box office opened.
