Since we haven't seen any more comments, I assume the transcript verifies there's no real news here :dunno:

On one hand, I would have thought he already knew Russia was a big country  :D but on the other, I can't disagree with anything he said. I like his comments about getting the German pres to put him on the spot to make a tough statement and think he's dead on with his comments about Syria.

I bet he doesn't wear the sweater Tony got him though :p

Only thing I'd add is that the whole conversation shows Blair in a fairly "weasel-like" light, to my mind. Not a great deal of strength of conviction there when you kinda look between the lines.

It was a candid conversation. Think of some of the candid conversation you have had with friends and associates, do those conversations make you any less able to succeed in your position?

Yeah, I understand the "off the cuff" aspect of it all. I find the whole thing to be pretty much a non-issue. Blair has a body of political work that says far more about him than any one smarmy conversation, so don't read too much negativity into my perception of this.

Must be a slow news day for this to blow up and make CNN broadcast. Nothing said is new or surprising. In fact libs should applaud him for using the word sh*t. We are all grown up here. Well, for the most part.

Wow he cursed, are you troubled more by a 3 year old cursing or the President?

Isn't it the same thing?
