Coming from the one posting Catholic hating drivel.

Pretty hilarious actually, I'm sure you want the President to "succeed." We all know how this entire board is against the radical Marxist take over.

You go from prosperity of this nation to describing how "touch-feelly" Democratic Party is and bottom votes.

Sounds like you are against prosperity.

We must fear those at the bottom part of society. Those damn Catholics and their blasphemy, not to mention the minorities taking over our nation. Those who can't pay the bills, who happen to be communist bums.

Show me ONE post where I hated on Catholics, you tool. I said that their ways were not based on Biblical Christianity, but never once denounced them for it. I've not seen you EVER come up with a constructive conversation on one subject that has been covered in this forum. Instead, it's attack, attack, attack, because someone else has a differing opinion than that of your own. I've gotten into some heated discussions in this forum, and even though I may not agree with what someone is saying, I still respect their opinion whether it's agreed upon or not. You just want to make sure that you trash everyone to get your point across, and if I'm wrong about that, please explain why you post the way you do so I can better understand.

They can say it was about states rights, but they really just didn't want to change their way of life. That way of life consisted of oppressing a group of color for their skin color.

Don't use terms like revisionist history unless you have a clue what you are talking about.

Thanks for illustrating my point.

When did you and your side start concerning yourselves with what the founders wanted and what the Constitution says?

The same time you started concerning yourself with people outside of your own sect.

I know how WASPs are.

He was just trying to distract you with you while we put the final touches on the forced abortion plan and gay realignment camps.

Clearly, you described them as non-Christian. But that is a discussion for another thread.

Your attack, attack, attack logic is ridiculous. I can't post anything "civil" because every other thread is full of a post denouncing "Obozo" and the "Marxist" takeover.

If anything, it's the other side. The one that is unwelcome to change.

You Tool.

You bashed me, I bash you.

See how it works?

Just so you know, I have no personal dilemma against you, I just believe you're wrong.

I want everyone in America to have the chance and opportunity to succeed, no matter what color, religion or sexual preference. Not by govt handouts but by true private sector solutions.

So, your just for a government that controls every aspect of American life, I see. BTW, I never described them as non-Christian, I said they were not the same as those following Biblical Christianity. Find where I said there were "non-christians" and I will correct myself on that.

Somewhere it says Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I dont think it says guaranteed happiness.

Anyone can succeed in this country if they put forth the effort.

Nothing in this worlds for free!!

Catholicism DID NOT come first, WOW!!!! It was formed AFTER Christianity was recognized as the official religion of the Roman Empire in 313 AD.

It's not, plain and simple. Spin it anyway you like, but Biblically, they are two different religions, especially with Catholicism being a state sponsored religion.

The Crusaders were led by conquering kings and the Roman Catholic Church, and Catholicism isn't true Christianity. They saw Jerusalem as a treasure, and not the Holy Land, even though that's what they tried to equate it to. Also, trying to use a period in time that was over 800+ years ago to claim your argument is correct, without using recent history of the church, is also silly.

They have added books to the Bible, worship Christ's mother, and allow homosexuals to serve as clergy. That's not even close to true Christianity.

Far from it.

If you want to talk religion, go to the religious thread.

I'm done talking about it after those quotes.

So it's not true Christianity but they're not non-Christians?

Correct. They have taken and embraced many pagan rituals into their services and doctrine. It's different, but it has it's Christian roots. So, not "True" Christianity.

I don't know why you're surprised. This is the new breed of Republican. The Moral majority, secessionist southerners define the Republican party.

Please tell me you at least see a little irony in your posts here...

What we have here is a microcosm of modern American politics. One side demonizes the other into an absurd caricature that only really applies to a fringe minority, and the other side does the same. Thus, no honest discourse can ever develop. It's all or nothing.

you forgot to add that each side is oblivous to the fact they are doing exactly what they complain about!

Well that argument is smilar to saying most Nazi soldiers had nothing against Jews
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Actually the two have nothing in common. I wrote that the average Confederate soldier had no interest in protecting SLAVERY, I never wrote they were blacks best friends (of course neither were 99% of Northerners). It was in their best interest not to have free labor on the plantations (you know, so they could work the fields for income). If you knew anything about the antebellum South you would know that a fraction of the population actually owned slaves and cared about protecting it. Those were the wealthy POLITICAL DONERS.

I don't know as much about the Nazis and Jews but the Nazi party philosophy was about getting Jews out of Europe so yes, the Nazis did in fact have something against the Jews. Germans as a whole? Not so much.

I'll pretty much go along with this, though you have to acknowledge the social hierarchy of the confederate gov't were the rich plantation owners wanting to keep their holdings and using the poor to fight their war.

The civil war is sad no matter how you look at it.
