I guess we will find out how much Percy Harvin meant to the Gators, but I think they have somebody ready to take his spot and not miss a beat. Their D will be stout probably better than they have ever been. But hey they could catch the 08 UGA syndrome, and get a slew of injuries.

Maybe they could make it to the championship game against the Buckeyes and Pryor could go off like VY. How embarrassing would it be for the Gators to go undefeated all season and end up losing to Ohio State in the Championship game.

They might as well Fed-Ex another crystal football to Gainesville.

Problem with that equation is that Ohio State would be playing an SEC team.

Ohio State will be embarassed, AGAIN if they get thrown into the BCS Champ Game

I'd say the chances are pretty good that Florida repeats.

Next year might be a different story though.

Very good shot but they will lose one or two...They always do and most likely it will be an early loss so it won't matter that much....Possible loss in the SEC title game....But reality tells us they are going to be too much for anybody this season...Just got to grit your teeth and bear it......God I hate them

i think they do it. the sec wont be very good this year and their non conference schedule is a joke. They coudl lose in the bcs championship game, but i can't see who would be good enough to do it. If corp becomes a star at SC, SC could definetly do it. I have zero faith in texas or oklahoma.

Would be hard to bet against them this year. I hate to say it but sometimes the truth hurts.
They aren't as good relative to the field this year as SC was last year, IMO. SC had the best defense in the country by a mile last year. UF was fortunate as hell to draw OU in the title game rather than USC.

My guess: Florida cruises to the national championship game. Only team that could beat them is if Pete Carroll can manage to reload the defense and avoid maybe more than one hiccup in the Pac-10.

I will agree with that 100% on every count, now with that being said I still think their chances are very, very, very good, UF vs Texas for the title I'm afraid, only way I could hate that scenario worse would be Bama vs Notre Dame.

If they drop 1 in Pac-10 play this year it will be to those pesky Beavers from Oregon State again IMO.
