I didn't like Insidious. I found it to be dumb and not scary. But I watched it with my maid in the middle of the day.

In terms of movies that are scary because they seemed possible, I always thought Vacancy was terrifying.

Next up was Pontypool. I actually liked this movie a lot. It's not your typical zombie flick where there are hoards of zombies running around on screen biting and killing at will (although there is a bit). Instead, it takes place in a radio station with three people doing a night broadcast of some sort. People call in as events unfold and everything seems like a mystery as to what is happening. It had a very unique way as to how the zombie virus spreads. The only bad thing I can say about it is the ending. I liked the ending/unique spin on things then again I didn't like it at the same time. I think most people will like 80% of the movie. The end may steer your likeness away, I don't know.

After reading this post I downloaded this movie and watched it at work last night. Your description was spot on. It had so much potential but the ending was absolutely horrible. So disappointing cause it was very unique.

There are some really awful suggestions on here...but honestly, not very many good horror movies come out anymore. Shame.

Just watched The Strangers. Probably the scariest movie I've seen since the Halloween remake.

Don't watch the Halloween II remake. It will scare you with how bad it is. It's the worst Zombie movie made.

I've heard. I honestly thought Halloween 1 remake was really good, but I've purposely avoided the 2nd one.

A movie I recently watched that completely messed me up was A SERBIAN FILM. It would make John Waters faint.

Don't watch it unless you want to Psyche messed up. Thought I had seen it all, but Irreversable, Eraserhead, The War Zone, and Begotten can't touch this flick.

It will shatter you Soul

That's the title of it? "A Serbian Film?"

What's the nature of its scaritude? My curiosity has been peaked, but is it a twisted plot?

A Serbian Film (2010) - IMDb

There ae only two camps for this film. You will either love or hate it. I thought it was a good film, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to watch it again.

I'm not saying this to hype it, but DON'T watch this film if your depressed or have a week stomach. It stayed in my mind for weeks after I watched it. I thought I had seen it all and become desensetized to it all. LOL I was wrong.

It is the true meaning of a Horror Flick, because some of the scenes in this film actually happened. A lot of the film is based on true events. This film goes toe to toe with Men Behind the Sun. To know that Mankind is capable of such Evil and Depravity will make you wish a damn Meteor would hit Earth and wipe every last one of us out.

The Evil we are capable of doing towards one another is scarier than any Ghost, Demon, Alien, or Monster we could ever dream up.

It is truly a depressing and Disturbing film.

Human Centipede. It's not gross or anything. Just nice innocent fun. Make sure to watch it with your entire family, even young children.

.....I just decided to take a look at the imdb message board for some details. ......One poster said that nothing bothered them in the film till the "newborn rape" scene.

.....

You guys need to look up The Devil Inside. Comes out on Jan. 6th. It's going to be really scary. They showed a preview for it when I went to see PA3 last night, which was also pretty scary. This other movie will blow it away though.

Yeah not exactly rape but.... yeah it was Bad. Ugh that movie still lingers in my head.

Knowing that most of the things in that film were based on actual events makes it even more messed up.

I will say however it isn't Shock for the sake of Shock. It isn't in the mold of the August Underground films. The director isn't just trying to gross you out, or test your psyche.

It is depraved and brutal, but it is actually a well made film with a real story. It is the modern day Salo.

Watched the trailor last night and it looks creepy. Just hope it isn't one of those films were the preview is the scariest part.
