What's the word on the fr. from GA Greg Clark? I am assuming he is redshirting this year. Do they see potential in him? I guess what I am asking is how good is he?

i think we will take 4 and we've already got 2.

Couch and 1 of Johnson, Wright, Bell, and Gosha would be the ideal finish imo

You are way more in tune with what's going on. I think that 4 is required. Do you think the attitude about the line has changed some since the start of the season? I would think that looking at the performance and lack of depth would maybe change some things...

nah I don't think that attitude has changed. They knew the DTs were very weak and would be the #1 concern for the '11 class the day they accepted their coaching positions.

I do think they are getting more out of Hughes than what they were expecting based on his practice performances. He is lazy in practice but when the lights in Neyland come on, he comes to play.

True, I don't think they were shocked by the bare talent cupboard. I have been impressed with Hughes and his effort during the game. In between plays he was going nuts during the Oregon game trying to get the D fired up. Oh and BTW, Do you think we really get Couch?

Please forgive me if these are stupid questions but...

How many do we need in this class to be competetive? & How many do we need to be "scheme diverse"?

Or is it not so much about numbers as it is about getting certain types of DTs?

Sorry if I'm being vague, I'm looking at it from the perspective of being able to run some 4-3, 3-4, or even 3-3-5 if necessary.

I would be curious to know who you guys would think would fit in a 3-4 scheme if we were to switch next year. Considering what we have returning on our roster, who we have committed, and who we are likely to have commit. Would Miller be an OLB or a DE in that scheme?
