Yep, they were the Best of Buddies in real life and I will never forget when Tony was interviewed after he had just left Freddie's funeral and was interviewed by a reporter and he just looked of course devastated and like he had no air left in his sails. He had been on Chico and the Man, Freddie had been on Tony Orlando and Dawn and thr loss of Freddie was just a sad tragic loss.
