I have to admit when I first heard of them and there stage antics, I was very judgemental. I thought anyone who listened to that stuff was a crazy druggie. I was 13 at the time.
Only song by KISS I ever really listened to was Beth.

When I met HBPW, she enlightened me to the music of KISS with the Double Platinum album. Then I bought Destroyer and was hooked.

Anyone else see George Clinton’s mothership tour in the late 70s?

In the civic coliseum, I was the only white guy in my area. Everybody was standing up, dancing and swaying in place. Some of the sisters around me decided I was OK, and we grooved together throughout the show. I miss the huge picked out fros and bell bottoms of those times.
