What Boise fans are saying about the UGA game

This. The Mountain West has been more deserving of a BCS bid than the Big East for several years now.

A Mountain West with TCU, Boise, Air Force, SDSU, Utah, BYU, Hawaii, and Nevada would have been pretty formidable.

A Mountain West with TCU and Boise is formidable enough, considering they're the two top non-AQ CFB programs. It's a shame TCU is heading to the Big East (especially considering it doesn't make sense geographically), but it's understandable.

I hate to say it but I think uga wins this one pretty handily. Personally I hope Boise State blows them out of through the canvas of the Ga dome but I think uga is just a little too talented and motivated. I think this uga's 06 Cal game. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't understand the UGA love, I mean this is the team that lost to UCF right? How am I supposed to believe this team is anywhere close to Boise State's level? I mean we all like to say "Oh it's just Boise State, blah blah blah, weak talent, blah blah blah, weak conference.". Lest we forget these guys haven't lost at home in nearly a decade and I don't care who you are that's impressive. Boise has a habit of beating teams no one thinks they should (see also: Oklahoma and Oregon). I think UGA is in for a beat down honestly.

If this game was on the blue turf I might agree, but isn't

Georgia wins by atleast 7 IMO. They have all spring/summer to prepare,& a pro-Georgia crowd, or I would think differently.

I think GA has a 245LB RB and a 274LB HB, this could be a problem for any team.

Size doesn't mean that much. If they can have good speed and break tackles, then it might. Just using their weight doesn't say much.

I think Comcast disabled PIP with their new "upgrade" downgrade to Xfinity. But, I haven't checked.

I'm not a Comcast customer. I didn't even know I had PiP until I accidentally activated it. Makes me wonder if the DirecTV installer made a mistake since I didn't order it nor knew it was an option. I recall years ago, when I lived in another KY town and ordered cable TV, I ended up with stations that shouldn't have been part of the basic package. We moved and the new house already had cable TV. It was not until lightning damaged the antennae and repair service came by we were politely told we shouldn't have the service, so we signed up after nearly a year of free cable TV no back charge. So my PiP capacity now makes me wonder.

Boise St vs. UGA and LSU vs. Oregon. Should be an interesting day for the SEC. I'd be shocked if both SEC teams win. I'm waiting to see the point spreads. I'd say that UGA is at least a 10-14 point underdog. Boise State is a pre-season top 10. My prediction on Boise St. vs UGA: Boise State-31, UGA-14.

Per Boise State board:
The QB comparison is pretty similar. Both are good leaders and both have shown their ability on the field. UGA gets the O-line advantage in my opinion because of their size versus the BSU d-line and the leadership of Ben Jones. I don't see BSU's line being able to move the UGA line very easily since UGA will seldom trot out anyone under 300 lbs on the improved d-line of this year thanks to Jenkins and Geathers at nose. The receiver situation is a virtual push due to both teams needing to replace good receiving corps from the prior year. UGA will generally trot out higher rated guys, but that doesn't necessarily translate into production. The RB position is also an interesting comparison since I belive BSU will have trouble with a 274 lb fullback and a 242 lb running back who has a lot of speed. BSU has an established RB who will know what to do and will play hard. I give this position a push or a slight advantage to BSU at best since UGA is unproven here. That leaves the TE position. UGA is hands down better and deeper at TE than BSU. The versatility of Charles is tough for any team to compete with.

On defense I think both teams have too many questions to analyze unless you're in the camps with each team. Both have some big holes to fill and some promising, but untested talent to fill them. I like UGA in year two of Grantham's D with a real nose and 2 giant DEs, but that's probably seeing through red and black glasses. I'll call the D a push as far as I can see.

if UGA is an underdog the spread would only be 3 to 7 points max imo even though I think Boise is about to spank the little pups
