What did Les Miles Say "to the woman"?

Hey Vols good game last night. We were lucky to win at the end. A few quick things. Yeah Miles is an oddball to say the least. We have a hell of a lot of talent and a Blockhead in charge of it. Also, Russell is so overhyped over here it makes me sick. He did everything he could to lose this game , but we pulled it out of our asses in the end. But against a team playing a freshman QB, and with our defense, I don't think we were all that great. We never wanted miles here either, and I still don't think it will work out, he only got the job cause our jackass AD went cheap as hell. Yall are a good team, and easily could have won last night. Oh well, good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks - most intelligent post from opposing team I've seen in a while. Had 2 LSU friends in for the weekend - game tested our friendship a bit, but I think it will survive! Given the stats, I said pretty much the same thing, LSU should have won easily. Turnovers kept us in the game - and while some turnovers are created by great defense, certainly the Morley intercept for TD was just an ugly pass by Russell.
As a coach and as a spokesman, I would be embarrassed if Miles were our guy. Lacks good judgment and self-control. I know he was excited, but his post-game interview rant ("you can write 'this is who we are, this is who we are'!" sounded a little like Dennis Green! We were sitting in traffic leaving the game when it came on the radio & I started laughing & said is that "who you were against FL & Auburn, too?", which pissed off my friends, but I couldn't help it, it was too funny.

Les Miles was only talking like the Cajun men talk to and treat their women. He is a cocky, rude, ugly, chauvenistic man that was taking his anger out on a woman. He did coach a good team to a win, but he is a poor representative for LSU and the entire SEC!:cray:

First, I want to say that although I am a LSU fan, I am by no means a fan of Les Miles. For most LSU fans, we were excited to see some intensity. That being said, the cussing is unacceptable. Second, to denigrate "cajun men" for Miles behavior is ludicrous. Miles was born in Ohio, coached at Michigan and Oklahoma State, and has lived in Louisiana for a grand total of two years. I am not even originally from Louisiana, but for a group of fans from a region that has its own stereotype issues to throw insults at "cajun men" does nothing more than promote the steortype of ignorance of Tennessee hilbillies (which I don't believe, having many relatives from Nashville). Lets keep our insults focused on the intended object without lashing out an entire state and their cajun heritage.

Like I said Les Miles is 100% pure jackass. If Tennessee ever geta a smug coach like him I would never watch them again. Him and Urban are freaking brothers! Oh yea all CBS did all freaking game was blow smoke up LSU A$$! I think they need not be so freaking onesided on there broadcast! Hell the way they talked Jarmarcus should go to New York the 2nd saturday in December! I freaking hate college football right now!!

lol!!! Judging from the comments on this board, must have gotten a big batch of sour grapes in at the local Piggley Wiggley!!!

Come on, hard fought game, LSU won.

Sorry sir that we might be a little upset. Our SEC Championship hopes and possible national championship hopes just went down the drain but we should just be doing cart wheels. You guys beat us tonight. No excuses. But you guys are not good. Just a little better than us. Which I don't think is saying much since I don't think we are that good.
Did we ever come to a conclusion on awards for posts? Heck, I think his post needs at least a thread of its own, if not a whole forum.

I never cease to be amazed...

Did anyone see Les at the end of the game, he was pointin his finger in Tracy Wolfsons face and giving her a chewing. What a freaking loser. someone shoulda snatched him and his big gay hat and knocked him on his ass. i would've loved to do it. i sat on the front row of the bama game and tracy was right in front of me really nice lady, and really hot

i think you are probably sufficiently embarrased at your first sentence, so i don't need to embarrass you further. as far as being a poor representative for our university and for our conference LSU (and Tennessee for that matter) could do far worse than Les Miles. CLM was magnificient last year in the way he handled his team in extraordinary circumstances, circumstances never before put upon a college football team. he spoke earlier in the week about how after his team won the game they would have more class than to "plant" it's flag at the opponents 50 yd line. his team would represent their university with dignity and pride....i daresay LSU fans haven't been disappointed yet....Geaux Tigers

What do you expect, we have a sore spot about refs handing the game to the other side due to Auburn, and mere moments after another example that left Miles PISSED, someone comes in and talks about previous losses as if we were the supreme underdog. We outplayed ya'll for most of the game.

How long did it take for you to get more offensive yards than yards given by penalties?

The only reason why ya'll stayed in the game as long as ya'll did was because of our mistakes. So don't play sour grapes attacking every venue that you can, talking about how we "really aren't that good" and about classness of our coach...tell me, did YOUR coach do a tour in Iraq as moral support for troops? Wanna talk class? What about that obviously intentional hit on the punt returner who leapt and it appeared (to my upper deck eyes) that he was aiming for the knees?

I left Knoxville impressed with the class, despite the lack of enthusiasm. There were some verbal scuffles of course, but that is to be expected.

Don't screw up that opinion with this forum.

Wolfson: Coach, 0-2 against top-10 teams on the road ...

Miles (shaking his head, visibly agitated): I’m not worried about 0-2 teams on the road. (now waving his hands in the vicinity of Wolfson’s head). I’m worried about finishing this game and finishing it well. Our football team’s damn good. We figure to show that in the second half.

Wolfson: How are you going to do that?

Miles (staring straight at Wolfson): Play our asses off!

Wolfson: Thanks a lot, coach.

What exactly is so classless about that? He is just answering the questions, although a bit on the aggressive side.

I think that's accurate, but I think you'd agree that he needs to tone down the arm waving and veins popping out of his neck when he's addressing a 5' 2" woman.
