What did you have for dinner II?

The last of the Japanese chicken curry.

I made it with S&B Golden Curry Roux blocks, and the box is a bit vague on what goes into it, but it’s based on S&B curry powder, which is made of:
Turmeric, Coriander, Fenugreek, Cumin, Orange Peel, Pepper, Chili Pepper, Cinnamon, Fennel, Ginger, Star Anise, Thyme, Bay Leaves, Cloves, Nutmeg, Sage, Cardamom
plus the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and Bulldog tonkatsu sauce that the chicken and vegetables cook in. No wonder the flavor is so amazing.

And it has a nice amount of heat, but not crazy-hot like many Indian curries.
