That was two of daughter’s friends coming by in the afternoon plus boyfriend over for dinner. Daughter had just taken last oxycodone the previous night, so she only had two glasses.

And I did use a glass of pinot grigio in the lemon chicken marinade, so there’s that.

Had a bunch of buddies over for my b-day yesterday. I smoked two pork butts, slaw, pasta salad, potato salad, corn on the cob. Made homemade ice cream afterwards. It was a wonderful day!

A healthy salad offset by four donuts and one cupcake .
Haven’t done that in a very long time.

Painstakingly trimmed out excess fat and sinew from a chunk of rib roast tail meat, prepared it with onions, mushrooms, garlic, beef stock, Dijon mustard, and half & half a la Stroganoff, and served it over a splayed baked potato with arugula and a dollop of yogurt

Yep, beach front with a water park, mini golf, a store, food trucks, the works. Not been to crowded this week. But they're starting to come in for the holiday weekend today.
