Lentil Soup w/Hot Italian Sausage
Dessert: Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate Milanos
The Milanos: "The cupboard! Haha, he'll never look for us here!"I’m a fan. I make my lentil soup with Spanish chorizo.
Those double chocolate Milanos are crack cookies. If the open bag is near me, I will eat the entire contents. I have to apportion a serving, close the bag, and return it to the cupboard before taking my first bite.

Stir-fried Mongolian beef and green onions with a side of blistered garlic green beans with toasted almonds, crisp-fried shallots, garlic, hoisin sauce, and a tiny bit of chili garlic paste
edit to add: omg, the kitchen, lol. And we just cleaned it top to bottom this morning

BTW- I ate the entire bag of Milanos. Yes, crack cookies is correct.
You are much more disciplined than I am.
Putting them back in the cupboard does not work for me
LENTIL SOUP
2 Cups Lentils
1-Onion Diced
2-Carrots Diced
3-Stalks Celery Diced
2-Cans Diced Tomatoes w/ Green Chilis
6-Clive’s Garlic Chopped ( triple what the recipe calls for)
2-Tablespoons Olive Oil
Sauté above for 10 minutes low heat
Add:
6- Cups Broth
1/2-Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2-Teaspoon Cumin
1/2-Teaspoon Curry
1/2-Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Simmer for 10 minutes
Cover & cook on low heat for 40 minutes
Great with Corn Bread or Garlic Bread
