We went to Gemelli. Long gone now (no pics), but I had Pisello risotto (risotto with peas, mint, etc.) and Hubs had Mufalda ragu including braised short ribs and other wonderfulness. Focaccia and calamari for starters.

Sounds great! I might have to go up there when I see family out to eat in NC. We all love Italian.... As far as what I had, baked tater with ham,cheese and ranch dressing.

Gemelli is an offshoot of Strada. Smaller menu but (I think) same recipes. It's in a sorta bizarre strip mall next to the original Earth Fare, which is back, hooray. Gemelli replaced Green Sage. I'm sure GS is mourned by those who love sweet potatoes and kale (and apparently only sweet potatoes and kale), but I'm not missing it. I was always kinda underwhelmed.

edit to add: and the pisello risotto was good, but the truffles and mushroom one is to die for. Holy cow.
